The Self-Care Builder course includes an extensive list of possible self-care activities to implement into your life. The point of the course is not to add to a long list of "shoulds" that we already have in our lives, but rather to cut down on that list and experiment with what really fills you up and rejuvenates you, and focus on those things.
The course takes you through three distinct sections that each build on each other. The goal by the end is to have experienced a transformation not only in the way you relate to your body...but your emotions, your relationships, and many other areas of your life.
When you learn to deeply care for yourself, it changes the way you show up in your life. Most of us want to show up as our "best selves" so we can get the most out of our lives. Self-care is the bridge that will get you there.
A few years ago, I reached a crossroads in my life. I was going through the motions of “adulting” and trying to figure out which direction my life was headed. I had always intuitively felt that I was meant to do something important, but I had no idea what that something was.
I knew I wasn’t the person I wanted to be, and I didn’t have the life I desired. But I didn’t know how to become that person, or how to be truly happy.
Up to that point in life, I had thought happiness came in the form of a perfect body, and a perfect image...if I had those things, then suddenly everything else would fall into place. You can’t be unhappy with 6 pack abs, right?
Wrong. Couldn’t be more wrong.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t that simple. But the great thing I discovered was a level of happiness and fulfillment I never knew existed. And was accessible to someone as ordinary as me. All I needed was some guidance, and the resources to transform my life, health, and myself.
My next step was to graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and become a certified Integrative Nutrition Coach.
From there I spent hours upon hours for 3 years researching, and most importantly, implementing different habits and rituals centered around mindset, self-care & love, food & exercise, relationships, career & productivity, and pleasure & fun.
I reached a place where I finally felt extremely happy and centered 95% of the time.
I realized along the way that I had also discovered my passion…

I’ve noticed there are many coaches, experts, and gurus out there teaching you to do it “their way”, and many products giving you the message that you’re not “enough” until you buy what they have to sell. While outside resources can be helpful, you’re still being conditioned to rely on someone or something outside yourself to choose how you live your life.
